Katariya Steel manufactures and exports a wide range of Hastelloy C276 Pipes Fittings to our clients, leveraging our extensive industry knowledge.
Hastelloy C276 Pipes Fittings are a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with tungsten added to it. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh conditions. The alloy's high proportions of nickel and molybdenum make it exceptionally resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion under reducing circumstances, while chromium gives resistance to oxidizing environments. The low carbon concentration reduces carbide precipitation during welding, allowing as-welded structures to be corrosion-resistant. This alloy resists the production of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it appropriate for most chemical process applications as welded. Even though there are various Hastelloy nickel alloy types, Hastelloy C-276 is by far the most often utilized. This alloy is one of the few materials that can tolerate the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide. It is also resistant to saltwater corrosion in crevice circumstances, which can aggressively attack other regularly used materials.
