Hastelloy Fasteners Manufacturer

Hastelloy fasteners, including bolts, screws, nuts, and threaded rods, are manufactured, supplied, and stocked by Katariya Steel and are appropriate for a wide range of medium to severe corrosive acid conditions. Molybdenum (Mo) 30 percent, chromium (Cr) 23 percent, and iron (Fe) 29 percent can be added to Hastelloy Fasteners in the following ratio: Molybdenum (Mo) 30 percent, chromium (Cr) 23 percent, and iron (Fe) 29 percent. Nickel has good corrosion resistance when used alone. However, nickel combined with other elements is known as an alloy that not only adjusts corrosion resistance but also adds certain other features that make Hastelloy Fasteners more durable and resistant than other standard alloys. These Fasteners have good mechanical qualities at temperatures up to 1500°F/815°C, making them appropriate for hot corrosive situations. Hastelloy Fastener is also available in a variety of grades.

Hastelloy is a suitable choice for moderate to severely corrosive conditions because of its outstanding resistance to highly oxidizing and reducing chemicals. Hastelloy Fasteners have good resistance to thermal creep deformation, outstanding mechanical strength, strong endurance of the fasteners in reducing environments, good surface stability, and excellent resistance in strong oxidizing solutions, in addition to possessing superior corrosion resistance. Hastelloy's exceptional resistance to oxidation is due to the inclusion of chromium. Sulfuric and hydrochloric acid (H2SO4 & HCl), sour gas, chlorides, moist chlorine gas, and chlorine solutions, and solvents, formic and acetic acids are all common Hastelloy applications. Hastelloy fasteners are used in sour gas service, chemical processing, power industries flue gas desulfurization systems, off-shore oil and downhole conditions, pulp & paper bleaching and digesters, and other industrial sectors where corrosion is an issue.
