Hastelloy Sheet Plate Coils are extremely machinable, albeit the alloy work toughens over time, as it does with all nickel-base alloys. We have a ready stock of these Sheets, Plates, and Coils in a variety of sizes and shapes. These Alloy Coils can be subjected to heat treatment of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit (982 degrees Celsius) for up to an hour, then oil quenched, aged at 1325 degrees Fahrenheit (718 degrees Celsius) for 16 hours, and then air-cooled. These Coils can be cold pulled and manufactured satisfactorily in solution-treated conditions. After working, it is advised that Hastelloy Alloy Coils should be annealed at a temperature of 2050 to 2150 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by a quick quench in a protected environment or in an agitated reducing quench bath. Annealing of Hastelloy Alloy Coils after working is advised and should be performed at a temperature between 2050 Degree F and 2150 Degree F followed by a rapid quench in a protective atmosphere or in an agitated reducing quench bath.
