Hastelloy C22 Pipes Fittings comprise nickel, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and other necessary metal ingredients. It's a versatile austenitic alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Its high chromium concentration gives strong oxidizing media resistance, while the molybdenum and tungsten content provides good reducing media resistance. This nickel steel alloy is also resistant to oxidizing aqueous conditions such as wet chlorine. This nickel alloy is also very resistant to settings with reducing and oxidizing conditions in process streams.

Hastelloy B2 Pipes Fittings is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with significant resistance to reducing environments. Molybdenum is an important alloying element that provides high corrosion resistance in reducing conditions. Because it suppresses the formation of grain-boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, this nickel steel alloy can be welded. It is also resistant to pure sulfuric acid as well as a number of non-oxidizing acids. However, because Hastelloy B2 has low corrosion resistance in oxidizing settings, it is not advised for use in oxidizing fluids or in the presence of ferric or cupric salts, which may cause rapid premature corrosion failure.

Hastelloy B3 Pipes Fittings is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with higher resistance to pitting, corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking, and has superior thermal stability than Hastelloy B2. It is also resistant to a variety of acids and other non-oxidizing environments. At all concentrations and temperatures, the alloy is very resistant to hydrochloric acid. Its capacity to maintain good ductility after transitory exposure to moderate temperatures distinguishes it from other alloys. Such exposures are common during heat treatments connected with manufacture. Like Hastelloy B2, it has poor corrosion resistance to oxidizing environments.
