Duplex Steel S31803 Butt Weld Pipe Fittings are majorly composed of chromium, iron, nickel, molybdenum, manganese, silicon, and other required materials. Duplex Steel S31803 Butt Weld Pipe Fittings become brittle and partially or completely loses their ductility at a temperature above 300°C. It is more ductile than ferritic alloys at lower temperatures. It can maintain its usability at about -50°C. Its fabrication requires the use of only stainless steel alloy-specific tools. Although these alloys may be machined, the process is challenging due to their great strength. Welding is possible with duplex stainless steel. All standard welding procedures are usable.
