UNS N08020 is another name for Alloy 20. Alloy 20 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that is intended for use in sulfuric acid applications. Other industries that benefit from its corrosion resistance include the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, power generation, and plastics industries. Alloy 20 nickel tubing is resistant to pitting and chloride ion corrosion and its copper content make it resistant to sulfuric acid. Alloy 20 Tubes<\/strong><\/a> is a nickel alloy, not stainless steel (ASTM). It is frequently chosen to address stress corrosion cracking issues that can occur with 316L stainless.
